About Us

Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) is an international organisation, which consists of medical students over a dozen countries in Asia and Oceania, including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, The Philippines, Korea, Australia and Singapore.

The main activities each year include participating in annual scientific-based medical and cultural conferences, namely the Asian Medical Students’ Conference (AMSC) during July/August.

AMSA has representatives for and works closely with WHO, ASEAN, IFMSA & EMSA. These representatives present annual paper reports on the ventures of Asian medical students as well as voicing our views and concerns revolving important issues in Asia and worldwide.

We also organise a number of academic and social events throughout the year.
