A Big ‘Welcome Back!’ to UK Delegation for AMSC 2009

The delegation of 2009 had an eventful conference in Taiwan as they discussed the issues of Stigmatising Illnesses, and didn’t let the swine flu ‘pandemic’ spoil their spirits either! A post-conference meet is due to be held in last September/early October - so make sure you check your emails!

Theme: Engaging Asia-Pacific Youth in the Fight Against HIV/AIDS
We are currently wanting to recruit 5 UK medical students to form representation as UK delegates in the upcoming EAMSC 09. Successful students will be expected to produce one paper presentation and two poster presentations within the UK team, as part of the requirements for entry to the conference.

The UK delegation have returned from their one week AMSC Tokyo. A post-conference gathering will be due in early October to catch up on the gossip and people who didn't get to go and listen in on the action! Keep your eyes peeled for more details.
