Thank you to all that came to the 1st Project meeting for the AMSA Conference in the Philippines 2012. It was great to see people interested in the conference so I hope you follow through and join us in the fun! We discussed many ideas based on the theme of “Surmounting Health Inequalities across Asia as One Region.”

For people who couldn’t attend the first meeting on the 4th of February, IT’S NOT TOO LATE! Feel free to come along and ask us about the conference if you don’t know anything and get involved with the projects. This meeting will be a lot shorter than the first one.

AMSEP is AMSA’s exchange program where we spend a week abroad, being hosted by the local branch of AMSA, and we host their members in return. This year, the exchange is with Taiwan!
The students arrived on Monday and are staying for a week. As the sociable and fun loving AMSA-UK that we are, we couldn’t let them leave without a proper farewell…so… following the 2nd project meeting, we have also planned an AMSEP dinner with the Taiwanese students, as a way of rounding off their week in UK.
Everyone is welcome so we hope to see many of you there, especially the helpers!
We will start off the evening with drinks in our private area at the bar (happy hour until 19:00) so join us for half price drinks (£3.00 for pint, £4.50 for a cocktail).
